Pierce & Ward: Interior Design Duo

Louisa Pierce and Emily Ward are “known for their eclectic and moody spaces” among entertainment circles, explains AD. In 2021, they opened Pierce & Ward in LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood, allowing anyone to shop the types of antiques they eye for clients. But don’t let their bio do the talking. It’s their portfolio that says it all.

I recently discovered them by way of an article about their recent Nashville project outfitting the home for The Big Bang Theory actor Johnny Galeck and his family. Not only are the rooms gorgeously layered with rich colors and patterns, but the project showcases Pierce and Ward’s potential when working with a client that brings a vision and personal style that stretches the notion of what it means to have a “more interesting” home.

When forced to describe his own style for a friend, Galeck offers the following suggestion: “Tell him it’s the inside of Johnny’s brain.”
