Virginia Highlands Home Tour is one of my favorite days in Atlanta. And this October’s tour did not disappoint. Of the 7 residences, two were out of sight: The first and last one of the day. 

The first transported you to a Balanese outdoor escape in the back and a 1920s themed deep green speakeasy below. No surprise was spared. 

And then the last house — ya’ll. The detailing is hard to put into words. The kitchen was begging to be hosted in and the builtins in the living room oozed with coffee table book envy. Can we talk about her getting ready room because there’s no way that room can be labeled a closet?! It’s little wonder Atlanta Magazine did a feature on this artfully displayed wardrobe. 

The other best part: the bedrooms. All the colors flowed from one view to the next so seamlessly it brought new meaning to a home with a theme.
